I love this place. A family owned business, the ice cream is homemade and quality to finest. Some flavors are wacky but almost all of the flavors in my opinion are amazing. The sizes are perfect. Service is kind and exceptional. The looks are cute and fun.
There are quite a few ice cream places closer to me than Erickson's. It takes me 20 minutes to get there even in good traffic. But it is my favorite and that's where I go. I'm hoping for a cooler day in the next week so I can pick up a couple pints before my knee replacement surgery. Hmmm...perhaps I should bring a cooler.
This is one of the best ice cream shops in Massachusetts. The ice cream is rich and then have TONS of flavors, including some you can't find at other places. The servings are big, so make sure you know what size you're ordering or it will be hard to finish. You can't go wrong with Green Monster (mint ice cream with Oreos, cookie dough and chocolate chips) .
Stopped by here as part of a motorcycle ride and were not disappointed. Pretty sure I had based it a hundred times and never had the opportunity to stop. I'm so glad we did finally. I went out of my comfort zone and ordered the maple walnut with caramel sauce and was in heaven. portion sizes were larger than expected but not to the point of being unable to finish it. The line moved quickly and the parking was adequate, even though it was a smallish parking lot.
Just how I remember it. Old school drive-in ice cream as it should be. I missed a couple of summers due to Covid, but otherwise this is an annual summer treat. They always have tons of flavors and special seasonal flavors. They also have sorbets, sherbets and vegan ice creams. If you like coffee flavor, both the coffee chip and coffee oreo are not to be missed. Extra hot fudge on the sundae please!
I've been coming to Erikson's since I was about 2 years old, and it's still one of my favorite ice cream places anywhere. They have a huge menu of flavors, incredible sundaes, and great service. Most of the employees are high school kids and they do a fantastic job. Also, Erikson's just has that great feel of an old time New England ice cream stand. They've been around for almost 100 years, and for good reason. Try the fresh raspberry sundae with vanilla ice cream or the green monsta (mint ice cream, Oreos, chocolate chips, and cookie dough). You'll be glad you came!
